A guy inherits his mothers estate only to discover that the personal items he's been auctioning off since her death have been repurchased and returned into the home. He does not know who the buyer is or why only that someone wanted them back in there.
All throughout the house he keeps seeing these pictures on the walls with these morbid little sayings. Sayings such as "drop a knife a man visits" "drop a spoon a woman visits" "drop a knife, neither visits". That and the rainy atmosphere encoupled by the womans monotonous voice sets up the vibe of the movie and introduces the "God's Messengers" angle surrounding the statue.
I'll have to admit this movie moves really slow and doesn't get out of hand at any point what so ever. It's filmed exceptionally well and is a solid story it's just not a barnstormer. Look at it as just a run of the mill scary story and this is what you have.Just a straight up popcorn and soda type film. In no way am I saying it's not a good movie because it is, it just never really spins out if you catch my drift. See for yourself go look it up.
